(Home of Soul School)Dearest,
you found the cottage.
Come on in, and close the door behind you, it’s chilly out there.Yes, the fire is lovely and warm in the ingle-nook, isn’t it.That’s Willow the cat snoring on the chair,
and the dogs… Maple and Blossom…
scuffling over who sits closest to the fire.
(It is usually Maple who wins).Yes, Soul School happens here,
by the fire,
where the chairs are comfy,
and thoughts seem to settle more easily.We are still attempting to tidy up,
plump up cushions,
and get papers and biscuit crumbs off the table.
A few more touches, fill the teapot (of course),
and we will be ready.Our first offering here isTea with Serendipity
a small course with a big heart,
brewed in this very room. Coming very soon.And, if you listen carefully,
you might feel the Cottage leaning in a little,
as if it knows what is coming.
Some say places have memories.
Some say they hold blessings in the walls.
This one does both.Would you like a cup of tea
